After about a month of using bins to prop up our oak table top, I finally got these in the mail yesterday. My next project will be to build a slim profile media unit on casters!
The legs are 14". The table top is 1.5". Table height is at 15.5" which is perfect for Patrick, but it's a bit high for me because I'm shorter... then again, most chairs+furniture are designed for the average height of a man and not a woman. :(
I am obsessed with hairpin legs, except it's so hard to find and expensive in Australia! I'm going to add this to my DIY folder and in the meantime, I'm going to re-blog. thanks for the tips.
i'm in the market for a table that looks JUST LIKE THIS!! i have the legs and i am so happy you said it was an ikea countertop - all things i have quick access to! So excited to build this!
Silvia, just found your site and love what you did. What type of wood did you use? I think you said that it was countertop but can you be more specific? Also, where did you buy it? Lastly, how did you decide the placement of the legs? Thanks so much -- Eric
eric, as i've stated in a reply above, the counter top is from ikea. and the placement of the legs is something you will have to decide on your own. good luck.
